The Marbella at Pelican Bay Wins Third Annual Q Award
Congratulations to Managing Director Troy Cardwell and the staff of the Marbella at Pelican Bay on winning the 2010 Guest Services Q Award. Guest Services` President Gerry Gabrys presented the Q Award to Troy and his staff at a ceremony at the The Marbella in Naples, Florida. The Marbella is in the Hospitality Division, which is under the direction of Vice President Barry Trice.
The Marbella at Pelican Bay is a luxury retirement community that offers fine living in a luxurious resort-style atmosphere on the shore of the Gulf of Mexico. Residents enjoy unparalleled living and endless amenities including an exclusive dining experience that is offered in four uniquely different settings: casual, semiformal, formal, and a formal private dining room; room service also is available. Additional amenities that one might find in a luxury resort include social activities; concierge, banking, housekeeping services; and sedan and beauty/spa services.
The Q Award annually recognizes the leadership and staff of the Guest Services unit with the highest Quality Audit rating during the year. The winning unit is presented with a plaque designating its achievement and has its name engraved on the official plaque displayed at the Corporate office. The winning manager and employees also receive sizable cash bonuses.
The evaluation results in a numeric score based on: (1) the on-site observation of specific criteria by a member of the Quality Assurance staff; (2) customer surveys; and (3) a client survey.
